Laser Hair removal FAQ
Body - 6-8 Treatments (Every 6 weeks)
YES. If it’s a back area the nurse/therapist can shave on the day.
You may shave, or trim or use a hair removal cream between treatments. However, you shouldn’t pluck, wax or in any way remove the hairs from the follicles.
We do not treat moles, tattoos, under the eyebrows and skin that is very pigmented. (Black or dark Asian) This is due to increased risk. We do not take any risks at Bodybliss Clinic.
It is only suitable for hairs that have some pigment. Hence not suitable for blond, grey, white or red.
Fully qualified and registered nurse and experienced therapist. Both highly experienced in the use of the LightSheer Diode Laser System. All our staff are kept current on the latest literature and receive on-going training. Once you have had your consultation, you will always see the same person for your treatments.
You may experience a slight sunburnt feeling and some redness to the treated area for a couple of hours after treatment.
A wide range of medical specialists have used lasers for well over fifteen years and there is no evidence to date that suggests any long-term side effects. The laser we use is FDA approved. We are also registered with the Healthcare Commission (Britain’s healthcare watchdog).
Ideally no sun exposure or sun beds throughout treatment but particularly for 2 weeks after. The skin should be back to normal and as pale as possible before treatment can start again.
